The Molino dei Giusi had been our family holiday home for generations. At the beginning of the 900's, grandad Virgilio used to come here on holiday with the family, leaving behind his little bookbinding shop in Oneglia's harbour for a bit of summer relaxation. From the top of the hill, far from the city, among centuries-old olive trees and the Mediterranean scrub, they enjoyed the stunning views of the sea, the mountains, the olive groves, Imperia with its old town on top of the Parasio, and when the sky was clear they could even spot Corsica in the distance. In the 90's, Mimmo, who had spent his childhood at his grandad's house, decided with Lorena to restore the old building and to make it their family home. As time went by we realised the necessity to share this beautiful and peaceful corner of the world with others: this is how our first "agriturismo" was born.
