A peacefulness place
Limonaia was the first flat, made for rent, of Tenuta Molino dei Giusi. More than 15 years ago, our family wanted to share the peacefulness of the place and transform it into an opportunity to meet new friends.
THE STORY
The mansion, together with its olive groves, has been owned by our family from generations. Our grandparents used it as their holiday destination and it was fundamental for their personal olive oil production. The space in which Limonaia was built, just by the pool side terrace, was at first used to keep lemons warm in winter, to store vases and other objects that then were sell in our historical past local shop Canna Ramella. Occasionally we also set up parties there: it was really a place of leisure and an incubator of beautiful stuff.
THE RENOVATION
Now, after many years of activity and after hosting so many special guests, so close that we could actually call them friends, the flat has been renewed. Our aim was to refresh it, but in doing so, it seemed to us respectful to remind also about its past and the spirit that marked it since the very beginning. 2020’s new challenges inspired us to rethink about the use of its spaces and not only about the way they look: new needs, new holiday modes and, most of all, our way to them. We then searched for material, colors, objects, fabrics and renovated the interiors. Many italian design products has been added, both new and vintage ones.
THE FLAT
No detail has been left to chance, always considering the comforts and functionality that our guests need to feel at home, even on holidays. The flat is composed of a kitchen/living room, with its sofa bed for a third guest, double bed room, bathroom with shower, an equipped sun terrace on the pool side to dine outside or to sunbathe on comfortable deckchairs.
Wifi is accessible on the entire area and a private parking is available with a dedicated private entrance path to the flat, to preserve our guests privacy and independence.
